Meet your Social Worker

Hello Dwight students and families!

My name is Randi Alcarez, and I’m the district social worker for Dwight Middle School, Carrillo Elementary, and Price Elementary.  My role focuses on providing therapeutic support and using evidence based interventions to manage mental health related symptoms, adjusting to life changes, interpersonal relationships, and more. Each year, I look forward to working with students and their families to support academic success.  

My previous experience includes community mental health, working with unhoused individuals, and inpatient mental health. I am a licensed clinical social worker and earned my master’s degree from Ohio State University in social work with a concentration in child/youth services.
